A thread to contain feedback, so the gods don't have to practice their omnipresence so much when they want to read it.

Feedback for the gods Empty View count

Post  relict Sat Mar 28, 2009 10:11 pm

I don't know much about forums. But it seems with some the count of views includes the topic author, and with some it doesn't. If it is an option that the gods can change (as opposed to being set by the forumotion people), was it their intention that the count of views includes the topic author's views? I personally think it makes the count less meaningful.

    New post

A new message has just been added while you write it your.
You can consult the last messages posted below and thus to decide if you want to modify it or to record it.

I think there is a mistake in the "while you write it your." line, but mistake aside ... I really like this feature. First time I've come across it. Do you pass on such errors/thanks to the forumotion peeps?

Because only root is higher than [a] God.

Feedback for the gods Empty Index

Post  relict Tue Apr 07, 2009 2:05 am

How about (if possible) a link to the 'Index' page up on the main menu, as well as, or instead of, a link to 'Home'? Saves an extra click if one ever leaves the main part of the forum. Smile

Feedback for the gods Empty The default style with the blue-gray colouring

Post  relict Sat Apr 25, 2009 9:56 pm

The default style with the blue-gray colouring is great, but I miss the one-click index link at the bottom of topics. Currently we need to either scroll to the top, or use the drop menu, potentially wait, then click.

I miss it too, but if you have the home button on your keyboard, hitting that takes you straight to the top.

Shocked That's THREE steps! (Hand off mouse to keyboard 'Home' button, hand back to mouse, click 'Underworld'.)

PEOPLE STILL USE A MOUSE? Surprised

I don't use my laptop scrolly moving the pointer thing unless I'm working on GIMP, even then it's only for creating paths and selections.
